Mr. Bentley figured out how to turn the handset to the hose to quench his thirst. Now if I could just teach him to wash windows!

My new adventure in my Esty shop. I'm featuring silk flower pins and hair clips. I love them and wear them often. It's my new statement piece and get compliments all the time.

After such a long winter, we all need a little pretty to cheer our chilly spirits!

Dear Mother Nature,

We appreciate your beauty in it's ever growing bounty. It truly is picture perfect and has lent itself to some {too many} unexpected days of enjoyment out of the classroom. However, I regret to inform you that we are drowning in snow. Perhaps you'd like to share some of this winter wonderland with a few other areas.

Fondly,
The landscape

There is just something so quaint and inviting about the outdoor entrance at the Inn we stayed at in Vermont. The "door" reminds me of a horse barn.  There was greenery hanging in most places we visited in the sweet little town. It wasn't Christmasy at all, just a nice splash of green against the back drop of white.
